Business Identity

The brief for Andy's Corner Market was to build a simple and clean identity that represented a chain of convenience stores coming to the metropolitan area. The company was driven by the idea that on many corners you could find their store as a source of organic healthy options instead of traditional bodegas. 

The concept here was to play with the idea of the first letter in the name of the company as a point of reference. Incorporating the cross bar of the letter A along with its diagonal stroke in a circular form helped to add contrast and demonstrate visually the corner concept. To create a logo that was both organic and visible, this shade of green was used as a simple way to draw local shoppers and customers through cognitive recognition. The pattern incorporated in the bags and other peripheral materials was built with the logo and yet designed to be visually pleasing with a simple nod towards the organic.
